Supporting indigenous people, saving mother earth! Mama Tierra supports indigenous people in their struggle for stands for Mother Earth. We run four children centres in Venezuela and promotes commercial activities of indigenous women in Colombia, Guatemala and Venezuela. We are inspired by the indigenous woman: She earns the family's living, brings up the children, struggles for the preservation of the nature and passes on the indigenous heritage. As long as she is fine, the Wayuu community and the nature will thrive. By selling ethnic art, we support the financial independence of the indigenous women. MAMA TIERRA is a Swiss association aiming to fundraise money to support development projects benefiting the indigenous women.
