Pretty white curtains bring a nice contrast to the brick walls; period hardwood floors and exposed piping are adding to this cachet of yesteryear, cleverly highlighted. Ditto for the different colors (white, beige, gray, copper), textures and materials (stones, bricks, wood ...) that are merged into a coherent and soothing decor.
