ZUHAUSE is a collective of artists in Groningen, the Netherlands offering an interdisciplinary platform to young creators from all fields of art.ZUHAUSE is a meeting place for the otherwise-minded, a breeding ground for alternative art and a cultural center for inventive ideas. Welcome home.What does ZUHAUSE have to offer?| Workstations |Every Monday and Tuesday from 10 am to 5 pm our doors at Martinikerkhof 11 are opened to artists looking for an inspiring environment to work in. You can work here free of charge. We've also got free tea and coffee all day, so come on down!| Events |ZUHAUSE regularly hosts events. Our awesome underground attic is transformed to offer a stage to musicians, dansers, poets, writers, actors and visual artists. Meanwhile, in our white studio, a group improvisation takes place, creating an interdisciplinary performance. Check out our facebook for the next event!Every month we host a legendary jam session in our awesome underground attic. We welcome musicians, poets, writers, actors and visual artists to our stage. The sessions start with a surprise music act and are closed by our very own home dj Knelis. Entrance fee? None! So bring your instruments and writings, learn a monologue by heart or simply come enjoy the ambiance and dance, paint, and meet like minded people =)| Artist in Residence |Artists with a plan for an art project can come to ZUHAUSE to bring it to realization. Our building has two Artist in Residence studio apartments where you can reside during your project. We also have a dance studio, a music studio, a workstation for silkscreen prints, a gutter, a large open workspace, a courtyard, and our homely living room for you to work in.
