BHS Physicians Network is a 501(a) organization comprised of more than 200 healthcare professionals who deliver medical and surgical care to individuals in 17 communities and 12 counties of South Texas. The physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who are part of BHS Physicians Network focus on patients of all ages, ethnicities, genders, and walks of life - supported by clinical and administrative staff operating by the management standards of BHS Physicians Network, Tenet Physician Resources and Tenet Healthcare. Founded in 2007, the organization's primary service area is centered in San Antonio and stretches out to a 50-mile radius. Its secondary service areas touch select communities from Kerrville to Eagle Pass and from Hondo to San Marcos. BHS Physicians Network aligns with the hospitals of Baptist Health System, which is comprised of eight hospitals. In San Antonio, these include Baptist Medical Center, Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, Northeast Baptist Hospital, St. Luke's Baptist Hospital, North Central Baptist Hospital, Baptist Orthopedic Hospital, and Baptist Children's Hospital at North Central. In New Braunfels, Resolute Hospital is also part of Baptist Health System and Tenet Healthcare. In 2020, the providers of BHS Physicians Network provided care to 417,500 individuals.
