The Awesome Company is a design studio based in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded by three friends (and awesome enthusiasts) Jacquie Mahan, Meghan Klein and Kathy Borkowski with a simple, powerful idea: awesome is everywhere. If you need a kick of optimism, you've found your people and your goods. It's time to celebrate the everyday and the milestones in life. The Awesome Company is committed to providing fresh, modern and thoughtful designs for you and your home. But, we are more than a pretty design. We at The Awesome Company are dedicated to embracing and providing employment for people with autism. We celebrate what makes everyone unique in their own awesome way – that's why our team is made up of all kinds of people. We see the amazing benefit of bringing different perspectives from all kinds of backgrounds together. It provides diversity of thought which results in real creativity and innovation. Together we make sure that every order placed is designed to perfection, made with care, packed with attention to detail and sent to you with our very happiest thoughts. ORGANIC IS BETTER The Awesome Company is committed to organic cotton because we want to minimize our impact on the environment. We also want to ensure the people who make our clothes have a high quality of life. No toxic chemicals are used in the growing of organic cotton. It doesn't damage the soil, has less impact on the air, and uses 71% less water and 62% less energy than conventional cotton. Less than 1% of all cotton grown is organic. We can and must do better. It's our mission to champion organic materials. Our handmade goods are sustainable, fairly made, and always made of organic cotton. We are dedicated to supporting the local economy and fair trade practices.
