Grow Jackson works to end food insecurity for Jackson residents by increasing the availability of fresh food and produce through food reclamation, community gardens, and improving infrastructure for produce access. We believe in Food Justice as an avenue for accomplishing Racial and Social Justice. Food is the foundation of a strong community. Robust well-rounded diets with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables mean healthier individuals with more successful health outcomes, it means stronger academic experiences for students, and it means improved well-being overall.
