The Mechanical Contractors Association of Puerto Rico was founded in 1960 to meet the unique needs of firms on the island that specialize in the construction and installation of mechanical systems or offer equipment, materials, maintenance and other services to the industry. MCAPR is the united voice of the mechanical construction industry before the public, government, manufacturers and other associations.It also serves its members directly as an educational, business, networking and social resource. It is a chapter of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America, a national trade organization with more than 1,400 member firms and 80 state and local affiliated associations.
