At Kofoed's School, we help socially vulnerable people, homeless and unemployed people to help themselves. Our teaching method is what we call help to self-help. The school believes that every human grows and experience joy when it gets the opportunity to create and take responsibility for his own life. We create this through workshop activities, teaching, advice, practical help and socializing, where each student will learn to help themselves ahead in life. The school based on a humanitarian and Christian principle. At the heart of all the school's work is a deep respect for the individual. We believe that everyone has equal status and rights in society. Every day, more than 600 pupils use the school's offices in Copenhagen and Jutland. Kofoed's School has an office in Aarhus and Aalborg and daughter schools in nine Central and Eastern European countries.
