The Father Fred Foundation (TM) is a faith-based charity providing food, clothing, household goods and financial assistance free of charge to families and individuals in crisis who live in Michigan's Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau counties. Founded in 1989 by Father Edwin "Fred" Frederick, The Father Fred Foundation strives to be a place where our neighbors in need can turn to when other avenues fail. Our vision is to ensure that no one falls through the cracks.The Father Fred Foundation does not accept any state or federal aid -- rather, our work is carried out by the efforts of a small staff and more than 175 volunteers. It is through the generosity of our local community that we are able to help our local families in need.
