We are a diverse Christian congregation of 250 families set in a resort community with deeply religious roots and a strong manufacturing and agricultural base. Our congregation covers a broad spectrum of age and economic means. While many of us are lifelong Episcopalians, some members have come from other faith communities, finding St. John's a welcoming family. Our Sunday attendance averages 170, with many snowbirds migrating south in the winter and returning when the resort season begins. We have numerous summer visitors, including some cottage owners who return to St. John's annually. We also draw from the larger population of Ottawa County and other nearby counties.
