Enthios began as a result of over 20 years in learning and development and a desire to create a bigger impact than previous sole trader businesses. This gives any prospective client an intriguing combination of the desire, innovation and flexibility of a young company eager to succeed and the confidence of having a proven track record of achievement. We have 2 full time Directors and a team of 10 Associates; this allows us to be flexible and responsive in both in our national reach and in the skill sets of our team. Our client base is also national, and across many different sectors. We believe that this means we have a very practical and realistic approach to personal and organisational development. This is shown in the way we design our programmes; our focus is on performance. We concentrate on what are the desired outcomes and what each person can do to change. We add value by giving people choice on how they approach any situation at work. In terms of leadership development, our particular approach is that of leadership from the ‘inside-out'. This applies in two ways. First, we believe that to manage others effectively, one first has to understand the self. We use a variety of techniques and tools (including psychometric inventories such as FIRO-B, Emotional Intelligence and 360) to raise awareness. This then leads to a more integrated and authentic style of leadership, that others find believable and inspiring. From this foundation, we then move into the areas of managing others, and managing in context (i.e. the influences of organisational culture). Second, our approach is not merely technique or behaviour-based. While we place great store in the practise and application of new skills, we invest a great deal of effort in working with values, attitudes and beliefs. This helps to create more lasting change in individuals that can be applied across a variety of contexts.
