Scathain is a unique Design - Build company located in the historic Walker's Point of Milwaukee.Over 20 artisans specialize in custom made furnishings for residential, hospitality, and corporate design. Our unique niche is handmade silvered glass mirrors, but we are also known for our unconventional wood and metal finishes, and our use of reclaimed materials. What we bring to the table is being a reliable and creative resource who can work within budgets and challenging timelines without sacrificing quality or customer service. Unlike many of our competitors, we have an emphasis on old world techniques which lends a certain timelessness and unrivaled craftsmanship to our work. Our artisans carefully cradle each project to ensure a well-thought-out process, eliminating any unnecessary steps or lurking design flaws.We work with building contractors, architecture firms, and design firms who need things not "off the shelf." Some of our repeat customers include Harley-Davidson, Hendricks Commercial Properties, Kohler, Ann Sacks Tile and Stone, and White Lodging. We also have a great deal of experience creating an atmosphere, as can be seen by our work at the Iron Horse Hotel, 1919 Kitchen + Tap at Lambeau Field, and Lodge Kohler. We have even had the pleasure of adorning the homes of Neil Patrick Harris and Khloe Kardashian with our mirrors.
