The Office of the External Vice President is one of fifteen elected student offices in the UCLA Undergraduate Students Association Council (USAC), the governing body of the Undergraduate Students Association (USA) whose membership is comprised of every UCLA undergraduate student.The EVP office seeks to advocate with student leaders, elevate student voices, & agitate for student needs to the UC administration, as well as local, state, and federal elected officials. This year's office is divided into eight teams: federal relations, state relations, local relations, university relations, campus partnerships, communications and operations. Spring recruitment occurs each year in May immediately following the USA elections. However, students are also welcome to matriculate into the office by joining the fall and winter EVP fellowship programs. The 2021-22 External Vice President is Sarah Wang.
