Trinity Lutheran Church and School began in downtown Indianapolis in 1872. The church and school eventually moved out to the east side of Indy. We have been on 16th street since 1958. Our mission is to love families to Christ. Our congregation hosts many community events. Trinity is the home of the Japanese Mission Society, The Indianapolis Hispanic Ministry, Monday night community meals, community support groups, the Neighborhood Crime Watch, and more! Events like men's Monday night basketball, Sunday night youth group, Kairos prison ministry, the Great Banquet spiritual retreat and many more make Trinity a place you want to come and be in fellowship with others in the name of Christ. Our weekend worship services are Saturday at 5pm and Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11am. Our school does that by offering a safe, strong, Christian academic environment for all students and families. Our school serves families with children 6wks old to 8th grade. We are a National Lutheran Schools Accredited school. We offer sports (soccer, volleyball, cheer, basketball, and track), theater, music (in cooperation with the Indianapolis Children's Choir), and all core subjects.
