It's Thyme is proudly American family run business out of Sante Fe, New Mexico. We are passionate about health, wellness, and natural remedies. We believe Mother Nature provides all the cures and treatments we need to enjoy a balanced diet and stay healthy. My name is Kathy, and since I had a part in founding the company, I'd like to introduce myself and let you know who we are and the inspiration behind starting It's Thyme.Starting From The Beginning…In 1983, my husband Dave and I moved from Pennsylvania to New Mexico. At the time, Pennsylvania's economy was not doing too well, and the rainy summers and snowy winters were no longer fun! New Mexico promised more sun, so we decided to go for it.Sadly, we had to leave behind our beloved organic farm complete with one dozen Bard Rock chickens, four Alpine goats, and around 100 New Zealand rabbits. Our dog was the only animal we were able to bring along for the big move to the other side of the US.Shortly after moving to New Mexico, I enrolled in school to become a licensed registered nurse. I graduated in 1991 and immediately got a job in the postpartum department at The University of New Mexico. At the same time, I started growing my own herb garden, carrying on from the garden I left behind in Pennsylvania.A year later, in 1992, I moved to Presbyterian Hospital to work on the medical/surgical floor. It was at Presbyterian Hospital that I started giving out pharmaceuticals the doctors ordered for their patients.
