Our Background Kathy Starkey set up Astute Accounting Ltd with a view to giving ambitious small and medium sized businesses a bespoke financial and accounting service. Kathy's background covers retail, having worked as a finance professional for some major retail brands over the last 20 years. Kathy's knowledge of french and german means that we can assist businesses operating in french and german speaking territories  communicate with subsidiaries,customers and suppliers within the finance and accounting functions. Kathy's passion for sport has also driven her to channel her accounting skills serving private gyms and ambitious personal trainers. Our Mission To offer a range of bespoke financial and accounting services to small and medium sized businesses that cannot justify the full time cost of a senior finance person in the business but can do with the support on a part time basis, allowing the business owner to concentrate on growing the business.
