KHGID is owned by Katie Gibson,Katie Gibson, A native to the Nashville area, attributes her love for design to her mother, an art buff and lover of all things beautiful. From a young age, Katie sat in on meetings with her mother and her family's interior designer and quickly determined this is what she wanted to do. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Art and Art History, Katie came back to her roots and began working for the well known interior designer, Jonathan Savage. She ultimately decided to venture out on her own and opened the doors to her design business in May of 2014. Katie's ideals are grounded in her attention to detail, love of classic architecture and desire to create timeless interiors for her clients. Her love for her clients and ability to connect with them drives her to take on any and all projects from a traditional country home to a modern city apartment. Katie quickly became recognized for her ability to blend styles, mixing one of a kind pieces with interesting furniture and varied fabric lines. Throughout the entire process, she likes to be sure to include personal touches important to the client to help turn their house into a home.
