I deeply enjoy the creative process & have been making art in many different media for most of my life.After getting my first sewing machine at 12 years old, I have mostly self taught myself the quilting techniques I use today, but have also attended various quilting classes to learn from the masters. I am constantly seeking new styles & innovative ways to utilize existing sewing methods to enhance my work via books & courses.Rather than take the traditional route of quilting designs, my appreciation of color & texture lead me to art quilting which I have used in many different ways to create quilts, table runners, postcards, and more. My work reflects my view of life as well as my love of fabric.My quilts are constructed using high quality materials, strong quilting threads, & a generous amount of quilting so that it is durable and will last. I use machine piecing & quilting, hand stitching, embellishment, & appliqué processes in a smoke-free environment.I welcome custom requests. Contact me & we can discuss the details.
