Consequential Robotics is a service robotics start-up developing innovative solutions for applications in education, healthcare and research with the main focus on developing assistive robotic systems that will enhance quality of life as people age. MiRo is an emotionally engaging biomimetic robot companion optimised for use in learning computing, research and therapy. MiRo is fully programmable with six senses, eight degrees of freedom, an innovative animal brain-inspired operating system and a simulation software package. A highly featured platform with the versatility to aid students in learning the basics of programming all the way through to advanced users producing practical applications such as computer vision and machine learning.
