Affordable Quality Legal EducationBSL has a diverse student body of approximately 400 students from across the State of Alabama and the Southeast. Many different undergraduate majors are represented as there is no "correct" pre-law major. Although a large majority of BSL's student body is employed full time, approximately 90 percent attend classes year round (fall, spring, and summer terms) at least three nights per week or all day on Saturday. Some students mix weeknight and Saturday classes.BSL students may join outstanding student and professional associations that include the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, the National Black Law Students Association, and the American Association for Justice (mock trial competition). Membership in these associations affords students the opportunity to further the goals of the school as well as to enhance their personal law school experience.
