De Stichting Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds (NMF) is een Goed Doel, opgericht in 1988. Haar hoofddoelstelling is het uitlenen van muziekinstrumenten aan musici. Momenteel heeft de stichting ruim vierhonderd bruikleners. De collectie instrumenten is bijna € 23 miljoen waard en is daarmee één van de grootste ter wereld. De nadruk ligt op het helpen van jong talent, conservatoriumstudenten en beroepsmusici. Daarnaast rekent het NMF het behouden en ontwikkelen van cultureel erfgoed en het geven van educatie tot haar hoofdtaken. Het NMF is een kleine organisatie (4,6 FTE) met zeer gemotiveerde en deskundige medewerkers. Het kantoor bevindt zich in het oudste stenen woonhuis in Amsterdam.
