Power in Passion is a Total Reentry Solution. Our objective is to reduce the number of technical violations that parolees and probationers encounter therefore improving the success rate of returning citizens and eradicating the "revolving door" to jail and prison that probation and parole currently create. We do this through our app, advocacy, incentivizing positive behavior through gamification, an abundance of direct resources, and user accessibility. The gamification of our app is focused on rewarding decisions and activities that create connections, because real relationships within the community are one of the most influential factors in determining a successful reentry.. The returning citizen earns "points" for positive behavior, such as turning in a job application. Bonus points are rewarded for doing more than required, like attending an additional event with their advocate. They can then turn those points into a variety of things including rideshare credits, interview clothes, and application fees. Our mentorship program focuses on finding each individuals passion and creating a sustainable life through following said passion.
