Kawaii Girl Cosmetics is a New York based black owned makeup brand. We specialize in hand crafted human hair, mink, 3D mink and silk lashes (lash strips - not extensions). Our goal is to redefine Western beauty standards by encouraging a more fresh faced style that is in total contrast with the prevailing "Instagram trends" of intense contouring, cut creases and "highlight on fleek". By fusing beauty with whimsy to encourage the enhancement of your natural features, we're reinforcing the belief that one doesn't need to completely redraw their face to be viewed as beautiful or stunning. Although there's nothing wrong with applying these techniques, if these images are the only ones celebrated it does negatively impact how women everywhere view their natural beauty by comparison. Although the 2017 collection focuses solely on eyelashes, 2018 will see the brand expand into color cosmetics and beauty tools.
