We set high standards for our young people: all students are set challenging academic targets personalised to each child. We also expect our students to make us proud with their personal conduct: they are excellent ambassadors for the community and have been rightly praised for their courtesy and consideration of others. Students are encouraged to be confident, to have self-respect and to present themselves smartly at school. TLA is a Christian designated academy and we are proud to be part of the Woodard Academies Trust. We aim to provide a rich and diverse educational environment that welcomes people of all faiths and none, and where every child is 'known and nurtured'.
