Lynden Transport entered the market in 1954 when our trucks pioneered the newly completed Alcan highway and began providing scheduled over-the-road service to major Alaska communities. Today Alcan highway service is still available for truckload and less-than-truckload shipments but Lynden Transport's services have been expanded to include TL and LTL freight service via motor-water-motor routes using barges, Alaska State ferries and motor vessels as underlying carriers on marine highway routes.Lynden Transport is the only company serving all Alaska highway points connected by a system of service centers, schedules and computerized information flow.
