Lexicon Senior Healthcare (LSH) is the newest 2011 marketing arm of Great American Supplement Benefits group, a subsidiary of Great American Financial Resources, Inc. (GAFRI). Great American is owned by American Financial Group (AFG), which is a publically-traded Fortune 500 Company with assets under management exceeding $32,000,000,000! Although seemingly similar to competitor marketing firms selling products for GAFRI, Lexicon specializes exclusively in distributing GAFRI's healthcare supplemental benefit products as first-offer to the senior citizen market. Like similar competitor marketers, LSH salespeople (referred to as Consultants) are provided with daily preset appointments Tuesday through Friday (no cold-calling!), but the quality of the LSH preset appointment is of a much higher quality. LSH initially trains its new consultants only to sell the highest-demand, easiest to sell, most simple senior healthcare product, called Medicare Supplement. After placing this business, LSH further trains its consultants to sell additional products to their existing clients, while still allowing all of their consultants to continue on daily preset appointments at their own discretion.
