Computer BuddyAt Computer Buddy, we believe in the ability of all citizens, whether aged, infirm or otherwise challenged to use and benefit from the tools of technology. Many "training" courses or seminars don't fully understand the challenges and capabilities of various unique populations as they are aimed at the general population. I structured Computer Buddy workshops and support to provide initial introduction of these tools at a pace conducive to senior learning and in a powerful interactive, hands-on format that is most effective at strengthening memory. But that's just the beginning. How many times have you learned something, only to later forget what you learned, or even what your notes mean? This isn't the exception. It's the norm. Learning needs continued use to become long-term knowledge. Computer Buddy provides on-going support and assistance to help people re-learn (repeat to remember, remember to repeat) or just get themselves over a frustrating spot.
