The Food Allergy Alliance of the Mid-South's mission is to provide food allergy support, education, advocacy & fellowship in Memphis, TN and surrounding areas to increase awareness and encourage individuals and families managing food allergies.FAAM is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. To support our mission, services include:*Connecting newly diagnosed individuals & families with helpful resources*Educational meetings for those managing food allergies & the community-at-large*Special events that encourage fellowship among our local food allergy community*Educational presentations for local schools, churches, daycare facilities & community organizations*Advocates to support those affected by food allergies while working with local health professionals,schools, & community organizations
