Our HistoryFounded in 1948, the Bentley Law Firm is currently located in the Original Cobb County Courthouse from the 1800s. In 2000, the Georgia Legislature named the Akers Mill Road Bridge over I-75, adjacent to the New Braves Stadium, after the Bentley Firm's founding partner Fred Bentley, Sr.Our LeadershipFred Bentley, Sr., founder, was a state representative and senator during the 1950s, past president of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, and is the last surviving member of the original Cobb County Bar Association. Randall Bentley was the immediate past chairman of WellStar Health Systems, while Fred Bentley was a past chairman of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, and was the first in-house Cobb County Attorney. Randall Bentley is very active on healthcare boards, including serving as the immediate past Chairman of the WellStar Health Systems Board, while Fred Bentley, Jr. was the first in-house Cobb County attorney, and served as the Chairman of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.
