The Pro Air Grip glove is the innovation of Kelley Peregoy of Dunn, North Carolina. Kelley is an amateur golfer who grew up with golf in his blood. His dad was the head pro at Chicora Country Club in Dunn, North Carolina. In fact, his dad actually designed and built the back nine of Chicora County Club in 1962. Kelley had been playing and teaching golf for over 40 years. He is a student and a master of the game. The Pro Air Grip glove concept occurred to him one day while he was giving a golf lesson. The student he was teaching could not keep from over-gripping his club. As a result, his drives were errant and really short on distance. Kelley tried everything in his power to get the student to lighten and loosen his grip on his club. Kelley put on his thinking cap and for several weeks tried to think of a way to teach the student how to lighten his grip on the club. By luck or chance, one day Kelley noticed his wife using bubble wrap to pack a shipping box. Eureka!!! Kelley had found the answer he needed so he asked his wife to sew some bubble wrap material inside his golf glove and the Pro Air Grip Glove was born! The rest, as they say, is history.
