We exist to unlock human potential inside America's prisons by offering social support to the incarcerated through evidence-based arts and character development programs that address core human needs. According to research, when individuals - regardless of context or background - discover how to meet their core needs of safety, connection, self-esteem, love, exploration, and purpose, they are able to claim agency over their own well-being and contribute to the well-being of others. We believe this is foundational to the effectiveness of rehabilitation and therefore should be at the center of correctional efforts, using the matchless vehicle of the arts.
