Recently named one of "the world's 10 most beautiful cinemas" by the BBC, Tampa Theatre is one of the nation's most utilized historic theaters, hosting more than 600 show times each year, including first-run contemporary film, classic movies, live concerts, tours, field trips and rental events.Programming is sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, Florida Council on Arts and Culture. and the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners.
