Located just south of Wichita, Haysville is home to nearly 11,338 residents. Despite Haysville's proximity to Wichita, the community manages to preserve a small-town atmosphere. Well known for its award winning school district Haysville also offers many recreation and fitness programs through the Haysville Activity Center. The City has many parks, hike/bike path, disc golf, skate park and a community swimming pool. The Haysville Senior Center provides a variety of programs for the senior adults in the community. Haysville is also home to the iconic Vickers Petroleum Service Station that was added to the Register of Kansas Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.
