Are you a woman who writes?Are you interested in telling your stories, learning your craft and helping women around the world raise their voices?The International Women's Writing Guild (The Guild) is dedicated to the personal and professional empowerment of women through writing. For over 40 years, the Guild has supported thousands of women writers across genres, around the world, resulting in the publication of more than 4,000 books and literary works. We bring together craft and community through a mix of regional writing retreats and our summer conference. Our annual summer conference is the longest-running event of its kind in the United States, bringing workshop leaders and women writers together from across the country for 7 days in a university environment. Our writing retreats are hosted around the country in cities like Boston, Erie, Los Angeles and New York. We have a long history of attracting members from around the world.We are open to any woman with an interest in telling her story through writing as craft. We envision a world where women can raise their voices, be heard and have an impact. We are committed to serving as a leading force in the world of women's writing and providing a global community for women writers of every age, genre and stage of their writing lives.
