Lakeshore Legal Aid (LLA) is a not-for-profit law firm providing a range of free civil legal services to low-income people, seniors, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout southeast Michigan. Attorneys perform intake to confirm eligibility of client and then provide advice and brief legal services. Most individuals receiving public assistance qualify for services. Cases requiring litigation are referred to a specific Lakeshore office to determine availability of resources for further services.
