We are CareNexis – the consumer health experience company.Why we started CareNexis.It's safe to say we have all experienced our fair share of frustrations with our healthcare systems. For us, it was a combination of escalating costs, lack of clarity of what to do and when as patients and caregivers, and a general feeling like we were not the ones in control of our own health information that motivated us to start CareNexis.We felt underserved, a feeling compounded by the increasing costs of insurance, doctor visits, and out of pocket spending. So we got to work to understand the problems in order to build solutions. We researched. We interviewed. We worked every job from patient intake, to discharge, and post-discharge, to understand the patient experiences and processes.We learned first-hand how physicians are pushed to the limit and came to appreciate how providers also crave better systems to engage with patients. Most importantly, we saw the opportunity where we could help be the agents of change.What we are doing about it.We are building better systems of engagement – specifically, Digital Health SaaS solutions that make it easier for providers to provide personalized health education and care recommendations. Our goal is to help make healthcare more accessible, more affordable, and even more enjoyable for consumers!
