When Ken and Casey Weatherford sold their house and resigned stable jobs last year, it was for one thing: music. Thus began their journey as The Weatherfolk, an acoustic husband/wife duo that travels the country playing original music and leading worship at churches, colleges, and special events. The Weatherfolk has released two EPs: Together (2010) and Give It Away (2011). But nothing, not even a well-recorded song, can scratch the surface of the energy, honesty, and downright compatibility of this musical marriage. With equal parts acoustic guitar, keys, harmonies, and clever lyrics, The Weatherfolk's music reaches the folk-lover, the blues-fiend, the gospel-clapper, and the easy-listener - all in one set. It's a phenomenon that, after every show, leaves Ken & Casey asking the same question: why haven't we been doing this together all along?
