Laricina's overarching corporate objective is to actively develop and manage a diverse portfolio of oil sands assets in Western Canada. We have targeted oil sands opportunities outside of the Athabasca mining area and are focusing on in situ plays that meet our requirements for scale, reservoir quality and proximity to infrastructure.The strength of our experienced technical team has enabled Laricina to advance innovative development techniques and to begin capitalizing on the huge untapped potential of our in situ resources. As of mid 2011, Laricina had one project, Saleski, operational with another, Germain under construction and moving towards commercial development.
