Hi, my name is Kenda Summers. I am a Pet Loss Grief Specialist. My full-time job is helping people use the power of their minds to make changes. This has been a passion of mine since 2006. I was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, but was quickly drawn to the American Midwest, where I have been living and working since 2015.I run a busy clinical office in Iowa, where I help everyday people overcome challenges and create new lifestyles. I am also a stage hypnotist and a mentalist, and have performed all over North America.As well I am certified in the area of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which is an applied science built on linguistics, psychology, and neurophysiology. It is a set of tools and techniques used for personal motivation and leadership development. So working with the mind is my passion. I have suffered many losses through the years, having to say goodbye to people whom I have loved dearly and learning how to live without my beloved four-legged friends when their time on earth expired, from cats to dogs to horses.I was born an empath, which means that I am highly sensitive to other people's emotions and physical symptoms. I am very in tune to the energy around me, negative and positive. But I have learnt to set boundaries and show compassion for others, rather than taking on their pain. And this enables me to help people deal with their grief as they learn how to heal their hearts.Are you familiar with the Enneagram? I am an Enneagram 2 – which means I excel at making connections and empathizing the needs and feelings of other people. I am very good at supporting others and helping to bring out their full potential.I feel I am living my life's purpose.
