Michigan Women Forward is a statewide nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI) whose mission is to expand economic opportunity, empower the next generation, and celebrate and honor the accomplishments of Michigan women. Our Women's Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) provides microloans and holistic business assistance for women entrepreneurs who experience barriers to opening a business. Our Unstoppable Generation of Girls (UGOGirls) program supports middle and high school aged girls with financial literacy and STEM summer camps and transformational after school programming.
