Capital Area School of Practical Nursing (NCA & NLNAC Accredited) currently offers an accelerated ninemonth program that is divided into four quarters which must be taken in sequence. This program consists of 868 theory hours and 462 clinical hours, for a total of 1330 hours of instruction. Two classes attend consecutively in the program. Nursing theory hours are provided during the daytime hours, while clinical rotations may take place during morning afternoon or evening hours in order to provide optimal learning experiences. Presently there are no weekend clinicals or distance education nursing classes within the program.
