Our vision\A world where everyone has a decent place to live.\\Company Overview\Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell (HFHGL) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) ecumenical Christian housing ministry that has helped to build or repair over 800,000 decent, affordable houses, serving more than 4 million people worldwide. Habitat works to strengthen families and communities through affordable homeownership opportunities. HFHGL works in partnership with corporations, like-minded community groups, faith-based organizations, and individual volunteers to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating simple, decent, energy efficient, affordable homes. We offer a Hand Up not a Hand Out.\\Since its founding in 1991, HFHGL has built or renovated a total of 37 homes in Bedford, Billerica, Concord, Lowell, Reading, and Westford. To date, HFHGL's largest completed project is an 8 home neighborhood, located located on Carter Way Bedford and 8 homes in the Acre neighborhood in Lowell. Along with building homes, HFGL also does Critical Home Repairs for the elderly, veterans and disabled. Today we have done 22 of these repairs. HFHGL has funded the construction of 61 homes globally. \\Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell builds simple decent affordable homes in our local communities. Many volunteering opportunities are available helping to build homes, work on Critical Home Repairs and heip in our ReStore. \\Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell services 15 towns: Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Dracut, Dunstable, Lowell, Reading, Tewksbuy, Tyngsboro, Wakefiled, Westford, Wilmington
