Founded and staffed by refugees and locals, Child Houses provides safety, shelter and education to children left most vulnerable by conflict and war. With capacity for 32 children, the project not only provides a safe and stable home, but also offers employment and training to the local community. The home provides psychological support and counselling to those affected by trauma and grief - and perhaps most importantly, it offers love, reassurance and hope of a future to children who have sadly lost everything. Due to the political climate in the Middle East and the government sanctions that stop aid to the area, we face daily issues trying to raise and send funds to the home. We rely solely on donations from people like you, those who have taken five minutes from their day to learn about our cause and hopefully understand our plight. If you are one of those people and would like to find out more please visit www.childhouses.orgTo make a donation, please click here: bit.ly/childhouses
