Opened nearly 90 years ago as a memorial to students who gave their lives in World War 1, the Memorial Union continues to be a hub of activity and interaction for campus. The MU houses many programs and offices including the Student ID Center, the MU Basement (Billiards & Bowling), the Graduate Student Lounge, the Veterans Lounge, and the MU Graphic Design Studio, Express Stop (printing & mailing services) as well as many restaurants including Java Stop Coffee Shop, Pangea Cafe, Bites convenience store, and the Commons (various food options).
