MCL was incorporated in 1972 with the dream of becoming a major waste hauling company. Over the next 15 years, MCL evolved to incorporate landfill operations and development, recycling programs, waste transfer, environmental remediation and now municipal landfill operations as MCL's core business. Currently, MCL operates and manages six major regional landfill waste management facilities in central Alberta including Red Deer, Leduc, Hinton, Drayton Valley, Yellowhead County and Camrose. Our specialty is providing muncipal contract logistics with participation in all facets of site operations including design, engineering, and financial accounting. MCL's core lines of business include facility waste management and waste hauling. Our waste hauling division had two strategic locations: Wetaskiwin and Edmonton. Our Edmonton location is operated under our wholly owned subisidiary of 'The Bin Company'. The Bin Company specializes in the provision of waste management solutions for the construction and industrial markets. The Bin Company offers a wide variety of products and services for the handling of waste and materials for regular construction sites and management of specialty construction situations such as the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEEDs) projects. The Bin Company prides itself on providing innovative approaches to waste challenges companies face with the construction and demolition of projects. Several products have been developed in-house based specific requirements of customer site conditions with positive results. MCL is a part of the CERF Incorporated Group of Companies, a publicly traded company on the TSX under the symbol of CFL.
