We are a 501(C)(3) organization, that was created to help the unclaimed stray animals at the League City Animal Shelter. We provide foster care and adoption counseling to facilitate the adoption of the animals into appropriate loving adoptions. We raise funds for vaccinations, vet care, food, supplies, and other items not covered in the city budget or by donations made directly to the shelter. We help publicize the Shelter and its adoption program, to increase the number of animals adopted (and thus reduce euthanasia there). The LCAS euthanizes for health, behavior, and space. Our goal is to be "no kill" of adoptable animals.
