AWOL All Walks of Life, Inc. is a Savannah based non-profit youth development organization. AWOL was founded in 1997 on the campus Savannah State University by Tony Jordan as a spoken word and hip hop cultural arts group. Incorporated in 2003, AWOL provides uses spoken word and hip-hop as a tool to prevent juvenile crime. The organization provides at-risk youth with arts and technology training programs during the hours most relevant to them, after school and at night. AWOL provides youth with a safe space that encourages respect, creativity, education and most of all non-violence.
