Mend is committed to providing to clinicians of color greater access to quality evidence-based trainings that have been shown effective in the treatment of mental health conditions rooted in trauma. In turn, these clinicians commit to providing a full course of free or low cost treatment to at least two patients per year for a minimum of five years. The impact of this commitment spans far beyond the patient who is being treated. Over time, the ripple effects of bringing health and healing to disenfranchised citizens will echo in schools, workplaces, homes, places of worship, and prosocial community relationships for generations.
