[copied from website]Welcome to the Center for Advanced Study,located in Fanwood, New Jersey, the center's purpose is to offer strong support with school work from grades 5-12 and test preparation (e.g., SAT, SAT II, AP, GRE, GMAT) individually or as a small group of up to four students. This support provides students with the extra attention they need to perform up to their abilities in school and on college and postgraduate related tests. The Center also offers assistance to able students who are in advanced placement courses but are finding the challenges of these courses negatively affecting their grades and requiring a major input of time. Unlike other tutoring centers that teach from standardized texts, the Center considers each student's individual needs and, in the case of English literature, the particular works that the student is reading. The Center's SAT courses distinguish themselves by improving both the students' academic ability and test taking skills. Finally, the Center will make every effort to ensure the quality of its teachers.
