The Buy Build Fund provides equity to cover the funding gap for individuals that are looking to buy and operate a privately held company. Our approach is to partner with self-funded searchers (or as we like to call them - acquisition entrepreneurs) who are funding their own search process. These individuals range from MBA grads to experienced operators who have committed to owning and running a company. Additionally, they contribute their own personal capital towards the acquisition ("skin in the game"). The target companies are typically under $20M in enterprise value and the AEs lead the sourcing, seller negotiation and diligence process. Once the acquisition is completed, the AE steps in to operate the company. The Buy Build Fund is also differentiated in its approach. Beyond providing equity capital, all three founders are former SMB operator-investors with deep tech and digital backgrounds. These expertise will enable us to help our operating partners grow their companies.
